Window creep with Task bar on left or top of screen

    Hi all,

Don't know if anyone else has come across this? When I have my task bar on
the left or top side of my screen (not Auto-Hid), Virtual PC windows creep
towards it each time they are opened. For example (with taskbar on the
left), if I run a VM and save state and then start it again, the window
moves to the left by the same width as the taskbar. This also happens with
the console window. They don't stop when they hit the left/top of the screen
either. I've noticed this on two machines, both Windows XP SP2, with VPC
SP1 - though I think it happens on non-SP1 installs as well. Just wanted to
see if anyone else got this, and to ask how I go about reporting a bug like
this? Since VPC and VServer aren't on
    http://lab.msdn.microsoft.com/productfeedback/ yet :)

  2. Hi Jevon
I have exactly the same Issue and I'm unable to find a solution to it!
Im thinking of a Registry to load and set size of the taskbar each time I
    reboot...
But I was unable to find the right key, and that would also just be a
    workarround!

I run 4 PC's and all have the same Issue!!!
thanks pushing this to be resolved by MS

    regards Jürg

  5. Thanks Benjamin

Is Taskbar higth and width somewhere stored in the Registry?
could it be adjusted by a Script?
    Thanks for an Answer again!

  6. The start location is stored in an 'options.xml' file - unfortunately we
calculate the position wrong when the taskbar is moved.
