I have a Windows 2000 Standard Edition and SQL 2000 Enterprise Edition
installed on a box with 4 GB of RAM.
I have added the /3GB switch to the boot.ini.
In Enterprise Manager, the RAM reserved for SQL is set to 3 GB
But, SQL claims no more then 1723 RAM.

I want SQL to claim 3GB for SQL and the rest for the OS.

    What did i overlook?

Thanks in advance and please answer in this newsgroup!
