I have Windows 2003 server installed with SP1 and all the updates. I have
downloaded and installed Access Based Enumaration. I have 2 shared folders
and I turned ABE on for each share by going to the Properties and enabling
    it.

Users can still see the share and all the subfolders even though they don't
    have access to it.

I rebooted the server and no luck.

I've done searches on microsoft's site and google searches and I've seen
other people have had the same problems but no solutions. The Microsoft site
only has 1 white paper on it and no solutions on what to do if it doesn't
    work.

  2. I haven't played with ABE yet. What are the user's permissions on the root
folders above the shared folders? Are the shared folders set to inherit
    permissions?

    Permissions are not inherited.
