I have a 2003 SBS Premium thats running on an old Dell server. Its dying - I
have a brand new Dell server that I want to "move" the SBS to. What is the
easiest way to do this? I dont have too much experience with true server
migration, I usually manually build the new server and domain and manually
bring the data and workstations over.

  2. two basic methods are available to you, 'forklift' the current installation
to new hardware OR perform some form of migration.

How do I move my server to new hardware

    Migration
MS have the 'ADMT' method but most of us consider there are problems with it
relating to the requirement that the server name and domain name be changed.
This has significant consequences to what appear totally unrelated items.

An ADMT style migration is very similar to a SBS2000 to SBS2003 ADMT
    migration

Much better is Jeff's [SBS MVP] www.sbsmigration.com Swing It! style
migration which results in the final server having the same AD and name as
    the original.

Buy the Swing It! kit, it's worth every penny and more.
