Has anyone used the Windows 2003 Server Migration Tool Kit with Veritas
Foundation Manager (Volume Manager)? I am trying to use the Tool kit to
migrate some Windows 2000 file servers but the wizard is not able to see my
shared disk resoucres created by volume manager. The wizard informs me that
the drive is not a shared resouce. I am able to see the drive in cluster
    manager just fine.

    Thanks in advance

  2. Hello,

Actually I didn't have much experience on Veritas. But I have one
suggestion for you to check: whether you have installed Remote Agent on
your client. Otherwise, you do will not see the backup resource.

Since it is a problem raised by Veritas software, I'd like to recommend you
contact Veritas for assistance which is more effective. I provide the link
    here for your convenience:

    Thanks for using Microsoft Newsgroup.

    Hello,

It's funny, Veritas told me to phone Microsoft as it was their server
migration kit. Do I need to open up a credit card incident or is their
    another method?

    Thanks!

  4. Hello,

In my opinion, I think it is a product related issue as it is raised by
Veritas Volume Manager. Or you may try to contact CSS for assistance which
is a more approperate place for such issue. For a complete list of
Microsoft Customer Service and Support (CSS) phone numbers and information
about support costs, please go to the following address on the World Wide
    Web:

    Hope it helps.
