    Hi,
Is it possible to use third party CA as an issuing authority for smartcard
logon in Windows 2003 Active Directory ? I know it was possible (there were
even articles on Technet) with Windows 2000 but I can't find any information
if it works on 2003. Has anything changed ? Any information will be
    appreciated. Thank you.

    redgards,
    Martin

Use the same instructions that you found for Windows 2000. There is no
difference in how Windows processes the certificates.
    - Ensure that the correct OIDs are in the application policy/EKU
    - Ensure that the certification authority is in the NTAuth store.
