I can't find any reference to the 931836 hotfix for DST 2007 correction
noted in what's been fixed in Windows 2003 SP2. Can anyone confirm if it is
    or isn't included?

  2. That fix is not included as part of SP2. The same hotfix applies to both Sp1
    and Sp2 installs.

So installing SP2 would require reinstalling that hotfix as well as probably
the dozen or so other hotfixes that have been released over the last month?

  4. When you install SP2, the cached version of DST hotfix will kick in and
update your system. You do not need to reinstall hotfixes.

  5. Yes, but what about brand new machines where you install Windows 2003 with
SP2 as part of the build?

Then it becomes elementary as Holmes said

  7. The DST packages are installable on SP2. System can be patched after SP2
    image creation.
