I HAVE A PROBLEM THAT COMES AND GOES WITH NO APPARENT REASON

I AM RUNNING VISTA ULTIMATE 32BI

ABOUT A WEEK AGO \"WINDOWS EXPLORER\" STARTED CRASHING, MOSTLY AT STAR
UP, BUT SOMETIMES AFTER USING THE COMPUTER FOR A WHILE. IT HAPPENED ON
SPECIFIC TIME AFTER I CHANGED THE PICTURE ON MY DESKTOP BACKGROUND

WHEN IT HAPPENS, MY TASKBAR BECOMES UNRESPONSIVE, I AM UNABLE TO US
THE BAR FOR ANYTHING, ALL PROGRAMS CAN BE OPENED IF I HAVE A DESKTO
ICON, BUT THEY TAKE MUCH LONGER TO OPEN AND RESPOND. I CANNOT MINIMIZE
AS THE PROGRAMS \"DISAPPEAR\" INTO THE TASKBAR NEVER TO BE SEEN AGAIN
IF I CLICK ON THE TASK BAR THE \"WAITING\" ICON APPEARS AND JUST KEEP
SPINNING UNTIL I CLICK ON THE TASKBAR SEVERAL TIMES. THEN I GET TH
\"WINDOWS EXPLORER IS NOT RESPONDING\" SCREEN. IF I ASK IT TO RESTART
IT RESTARTS TO THE SAME PROBLEM

I ATTEMPTED A SYSTEM RESTORE, I WENT BACK AS FAR AS POSSIBLE (AFTER A
UNSUCCESSFUL RESTORE OF A DATE 2 WEEKS AGO), IT DID NOT HELP. I PUT I
MY VISTA OPERATING SYSTEM DISK I RECEIVED WITH MY COMPUTER, I ASKED I
TO UPDATE THE SYSTEM. IT HELPED INITIALLY, THEN 3 DAYS LATER IT HA
    STARTED AGAIN

I ALSO CREATED ANOTHER PROBLEM I CANNOT SEEM TO FIGURE OUT (EVEN THOUG
    IT SHOULD BE SIMPLE

WHILE TRYING TO GET THE COMPUTER TO BOOT TO SAFE MODE TO DO THE SYSTE
RESTORE I ENDED UP ON THE \"SET UP\" PAGE, FIGURING IT COULD NOT HURT,
PUSHED THE \"LOAD DEFAULTS\" AND SAVE. NOW MY COMPUTER WANTS T
INITIALLY BOOT TO A NON EXISTENT \"FLOPPY DRIVE\". I CANNOT GET THIS T
STOP. I HAVE GONE INTO \"DEVICE MANAGER\" AND DELETED THE DRIVE AND I
    COMES BACK WITH EVERY RESTART

I HOPE I DON'T COME OFF AS BEING TOO DUMB, BUT I HAVE BEEN ABLE T
SOLVE ISSUES LIKE THIS IN THE PAST ON OTHER OPERATING SYSTEMS. VISTA I
REALLY FRUSTRATING ME, I AM ALMOST READY TO FIRE UP THE OLD COMPUTER
WITH XP AND WAIT FOR 7

LOL! It seems to have fucked up your caps lock too. Take it to a
professional and pay them to fix it.
