Windows Live Communications Platform has stopped working.

    windows live team sent me a different sollution i will try and attac
    but it is quite long. my prob was the nvidia but the windows sollutio
    had nothin to do with that

    Please follow the steps below to resolve this issue

    *1. Update F - Secure Internet Security (if you have it on you
    machine):

    If you have F-Secure Internet Security 2008, update it to the lates
    version (F-Secure Internet Security 2009). For additional informatio
    about updating your F-Secure software, please contact their suppor
    team

    *2. Temporarily disable NVIDIA Network Access Manager (if you have i
    on your machine):

    1. Press CTRL + ALT + DELETE key, click Task Manage
    2. On the Windows Task Manager window, click the Process tab
    3. Under Image Name, locate Nsvcappflt.exe and click the En
    Process button
    4. Click Yes to confirm
    5. Sign in to Windows Live Messenger
    *
    *Note:* For uninstalling Nvidia Network Access Manager from you
    computer, please contact your computer manufacturer for furthe
    assistance

    *3. Check for third party DLLs and remove them:

    There are DLL files, either related to 3rd party programs or malwares
    which may trigger Windows Live Communication Platform Error. Pleas
    refer to the list below

    · BHOCITEU.DL
    · BHOCITUS.DL
    · BHOECART.DL
    · BHOSSAFE.DL
    · EVENTDLL.DL
    · HOOKTOOL.DL
    · TMEEJDLL.DL
    · TMEEJMD.DL
    · UWEYIWE0.DL
    · UWEYIWE1.DL

    To check if any of the above DLL files are on your computer, follo
    these steps:

    1. Click on the Start and click on Searc
    2. Click on All Files and Folders
    3. Click on more advanced options
    4. Put a check on "Search system folders" and "Search hidden file
    and folders"
    5. For example, type in BHOCITEU.DLL on the search box then clic
    on "Search"
    6. Delete all files that you see with the name that you searched
    7. Repeat the steps for searching other DLL files listed above an
    delete them
    8. Restart your machine to ensure that the changes are replicate
    in the syste
    *
    *4. Bypass router:

    If you are connected through a router connection, try to bypass it an
    connect directly to your Internet modem
    *
    If the above steps do not resolve your issue, we would request you t
    collect the following logs and email it to us back at the earliest
    *
    *Steps for collecting System Information:
    *
    1. *For Windows XP and Windows 7:* Click Start, and then clic
    Run. In the Open box, type msinfo32, and then press ENTER on you
    keyboard to open the System Information window.
    *For Windows **Vista**:* Click on Start and then type msinfo32, an
    then press ENTER

    *Note*: It may take several seconds for this information to b
    collected and displayed.

    2. In the System Information window, click Save on the File menu
    Save the file to a desired location.
    3. Locate the file that you saved, right-click the file, selec
    Send To, and then select Compressed (zipped) Folder. A compressed fil
    is created in the same folder. Send the compressed file to us

    *Steps for collecting WL Setup log file:

    Browse to the follow location to get the WL setup lo

    · *WINDOWS XP: *C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Applicatio
    Data\Microsoft\WLSetu
    · *WINDOWS VISTA & WINDOWS 7 :
    C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\WLSetu

    Inside the WLSetup folder, look for the Logs folder. Please zip o
    compress a copy of the folder and attach it when you reply to thi
    email

    Yeah well, I have had this problem for months. It is not my display, it is
    not Nvidia and when I delete my contacts folder, I can't add or accept friend
    requests on my messenger so what the hell do I do now?
