I've just bought a new notebook which runs Windows vista. Windows media
player works alright when I listen to audio files on my computer. But I can't
listen to internet radios. I tried to listen to an internet radio on the
site, and also tried Ctrl+U in windows media player and then wrote the URL. I
got an error message both times (error C00D1199). I hope I gave enough useful
    information...
    Thanks.

In Windows Media Player, when I go to Internet Radio through the Media Guide, I
don't have any problems. Although, some of the stations occasionally go down.

Well, I still do. It seems as if the internet radio stations don't recognise
that I have windows media player. Although I really do have it of course...

In Internet Explorer: Menu (ALT if not visible) > Tools > Internet Options >
Programs tab, Manage Add-Ons button, do you have two Windows Media Player Active
    X Controls enabled?

I can't seem to find what you're saying (tools and internet options and all
that), I've got Mozilla Firefox so it's probably called differently or
something. I'm also a complete zero when it comes to computer skills :) But I
    keep looking.
