Windows Media Player has pink or green triangle in bottom/left hal

    When I play WMV Files My windows media player shows a pink or green triangle
    that covers almost half my screen going from the top left corner on a diagnal
    towards the bottom/middle of the video. This only happens with WMV files and
    has started to happen to me after playing around with the X vid codec. I
    tried removing the codec and even uninstalling and reinstalling media player
    10 with no luck. By going into start/run/Mplayer2 I can run these videos find
    in the older windows media player? Anyone know what to do? Thanks alot

    I'm having the same problem. It just showed up when I was at
    Gametrailers.com. I was trying to watch and download a trailer when firefox
    crased, I restarted and when I got back to watching the video there was this
    colored triangle in the bottom left corner.
