    Using the old Windows Picture & Fax Viewer from XP, I can zoom in on an
    of my pictures almost all the way with hardly any pixellizatio
    whatsoever. Now I find that using the Photo Viewer in Vista, I literall
    cannot zoom in more than 1 step without the image becoming terribl
    blocky. Exact same image, exact same computer, just a different OS

    Is there a way around this

    =====================================
    Is your Screen Resolution in Display Properties
    set the same as it was with XP?

    Yes, everything is exactly the same. The only difference is the progra
    being used to open the images
