We recently purchased a new server complete with WinServer 2003 R2 64bit and
have come to find out that none of the software that needs to run on this
server is 64bit compatible. Outside of buying another copy of WinServer 2003,
what are some other options to solve this problem?

If you have an OEM version of WS2003, the only way to go is buy a
32bit version. The purchased version is already locked to the
    machine.

You could talk to the vendor, and ask him if it is possible to
take the copy back and replace it with a 32bit version.

  3. Tough way to learn. You always start at what apps you are running and work
    from there.
