Hi, I don't know what is happening. The Wake On Lan method is not working,
is there any additional configuration I should know in Win2008? Anything in
the group policies, in the way I shut down the computer?

It's not widely known, which is why I tend to reply to these kind of
    messags.

WOL requires support from the driver. The driver puts the NIC in a mode
during use, and sets up the NIC on OS shutdown in a way that it's
listening to the network to provide WoL.

If your WoL isn't working, check and update any driver from the
manufacturer.. That is, you may use the OEM drivers, but you also may
want to try the manufacturer. For example, an Intel NIC may have
drivers both at Dell and at Intel. Check and try them both.

If updating drivers does not fix the problem, you may need to update the
NIC firmware (I know that ability exists on Dell PowerEdge servers). Be
sure you apply the newest Dell driver before you update the firmware
    with Dell's utility.

    Recommended order:
    OEM Driver
    OEM Firmware
    Mfg Driver

I don't recommend to look for a Mfg Firmware, it's due to the different
OEMs that may twist the NIC in a hardware config that the Mfg firmware
    may ruin the device.
