windows update popups

    on my old computer (1 yr) I had a popup that told me new
    updates were available and asked if I wanted to download,
    I just said yes and they were done. my new system does
    not have this popup feature on the taskbar. can it be
    added?

    What Operating System are you using. If it's XP @ Home. Start/Control
    Panel/Sustems/Automatic Updates/Click "Keep my computer up to date.
