Windows Vista Premium 32bit Issue with Windows Media Center

  1. Hiya, been trying to read up on as much information as I can with searches on
google and I have not found a solution yet to my particular problem. I am
running vista Premium 32bit SP1 and when trying to connect my Windows Media
Center to my Xbox 360 I get a Freeze on the 360 and a Media Center crash on
    the computer.

I tried turning off the Windows firewall and also tried bypassing the
Extender with Enabling sharing on Windows Media player but the Sharing would
not be enabled for some unknown issue. My Xbox is on the List of Allowed
Devices yet the 360 does not see the computer.

When going back to the Extender through Media Center, it always crashes at
the same point. I may have to boot in safe mode with networking and try it
that way but I fear that its a software issue that needs to be nailed down.
