    Hi,

Im trying to install Windows XP Home SP1 as a guest OS,
with the host machine as Windows XP Pro. Everytime i try
to install the setup stage gets as far as "Installing
windows" and registering components and then seems to
freeze. The descriptive text and animations continue to
happen, but the progress bar representing registering
components just remains at approvimately 13 minutes
    remaining.

Has anyone else experienced this problem?

    Thanks

    Al

What is the configuration of the guest, and how long have you left it
    running for?

    Hi Paul,

The guest OS just has the standard settings with 128MB
ram. Ive left it running for about 75 minutes so it
    definitly wasnt doing anything...

    Any ideas?

    Regards,

    al

I'd suggest that you double the RAM if possible, and try leaving it
running for as long as you can...
