Running Virtual PC on XP Home rather than Professional. Trying to install a
Windows 2003 Sever guest PC and this has the error during installation of
servername already exists, even though it doesn't.
Andy known problems runing Virtual PC on XP Home or a Server product in
    Virtual PC ?

    None reported.

Without knowing anything about your system, try
installing the Guest with no network adapter configured
for the VM and see if that works.

    Thanks

There is no NIC in the host. Is the guest network adaptor configured as part
of Virtual PC before tyou install the OS ?

  4. If you change the network connection to 'not connected' under the
virtual machine settings during installation - you should avoid this
message. You can change it back to shared networking later.

I believe that Virtual PC is not supported under WinXP Home...and Windows
Server 2003. When I used it on Windows Server 2003, had lots of image
problems, like being corrupted and all. for Home, so for no bad news, however
when you install it, it will tell you that it is not supported.
