Can Windows XP or Windows XP Pro 32-bit software be installed on the Sun
Solaris 10 OS using VMWare or a Sun Solaris container?

I would like to be able to run some 32-bit applications designed for Windows
XP on the Sun hardware. It is a Sun Ultra 20 workstation with an AMD opteron
    processor.

The software I would like to run is Adobe Creative Suite for web development.

You'd have to ask this question in a VMware or Sun news group.

There are no VMWare newsgroups (I have asked). They just communicate
with the completely useless web-based "forums" that slows everything
down to snail's pace and gives you no way to cache the discussions
locally for later local searches etc.
All of which of course is possible when using NNTP newsgroups.

I tried to get some decent responses on some questions I had on the
VMWare workststion over there but gave up since I could not use the
web forum. How can you ever know when you have received a decent
answer? And how can anyone stand having to wait 20-30 seconds for all
    page switches? Unbelievable!

Sadly, MS is headed fast in this same direction.

Yikes! Did they not do any usability tets first?
Those forums are just terrible in the way they "distribute"
    information... :-(
