Windows XP Pro Install on VPC

    I am trying to install Windows XP Pro on VPC. It is has Vista Home Premium
    for its operating system. I have the virtual machine set up. When I start the
    virtual machine it gets through the preliminary stuff and the shoes a blank
    screen with a small line. Like a command prompt. I have the physical CD and
    have mounted the physical CD drive and restarted it. The BIOS boot options is
    set up properly as far as I can tell. The only thing I have done to get a
    different response from it is changing the CD/DVD drive settings from the
    setting of the virtual machine. Wit that option changed it starts up and
    lingers at the spot where you can press a button to open the BIOS. Can you
    help me find out what is wrong with it? Thanks in Advance.
