WinXP does not finish update scan......message says.....

    updates not available. Get Help, at which time this board is
    presented. Rich has, PIII 1000, 1g mem, 2 big drives, Plextor CDRW, Pioneer
    slot load CD-DVD ROM, Promise fast track 100 2nd HDD controller card and new
    Enlite switching PS, 400Watts, all inside a dated but sturdy, decent case.
    Had been working fine until SP-2! Thank you many times over if you can slide
    a clue
    this way that will jump start the thing!
