I have a WinXP Home machine that i want to upgrade to WinXP Pro. When I try
to upgrade, I get a message saying that my version of Cisco VPN 3000 and
Roxio CD copier 5.0 will not run under WinXP so the upgrade stops. I check
the website for the VPN and it said that it works under WinXP but I thought
maybe they just didn't support Pro. I tried to run the installer for WinXP
Home (just to see if i would get the same message there) and I did. This is
odd since I have been using both programs for a year under WinXP Home. Any
thoughts on work around for this? I could just uninstall the programs and
re-install, but I don't have the software for the VPN any longer and I don't
want to upgrade if I am going to have a problem with them since I use the VPN
    software everyday.
    Thanks...

Hi Steve, this happens if you upgrading over a previous installation,
without doing a clean install. I had issues similar to yours, but a
reformat and a clean slate install always solved it for me.
Someone will prolly give you an answer on how to work around it.
    Good luck.
