Hi, I am trying to get the WinXP with SP2 kernel symbol for my system that
comes with dual Xeon CPU. After pointing my windbg to MS symbol server, the
message that I got is always no symbol available for ntkrnlmp.exe while
symbols for other MS components work fine. Have anyone else got similar issue
and able to figure out the issue? I have tried to download the WinXP symbols
file that is available from MS webpage and install it manually on my system.
And there is no matching symbol for the ntkrnlmp.exe either.

    Any help will be appreciated.

    Al.

  3. I think there is a problem with the symbol file. I remember somebody
reporting this problem in the microsoft.public.windbg newsgroup last month.
Why don't try that newsgroup? MS folks on that newsgroup might have some
    update for you.
