WinXP winnt.sif and VPC

I have configured a VPC, given it a V drive, and the floppy is
autodetecting. When I do the boot process from the WinXP CD however, the
floppy is not seen or accessed. The Winnt.sif file found there is not used
to automate the install. Am I doing something wrong, or is this not possible
with VPC2004? I would prefer to use my office standard sif file, so my VPC
matches my real one exactly as far as configuration is concerned. Saves lots
of time over matching everything manually.

    Best,
    Gordon

  2. Hi,

When you see the boot screen, click Floppy -> Mount, and make sure the
    floppy disk is mounted

Alternatively, you can place winnt.sif in the I386 directory of the CD and
it will do an automated install as well
