  1. hey there...
i've been having problems with WLM for quite some time now, tried almoust
everything and anything i guess... reinstalled my system several times
already, reinstalled and uninstalled WLM a few times and nothing seems to
    work out...
also got an email from support saying to do this:

"I understand that the your Microsoft LifeCam Cinema is not working properly
with Windows Live Messenger. However, it works fine with other applications.
Also, WLMessenger crashes when trying to make an AV configuration. You
tried to fix this issue by several un-installation and reinstallation of
    WLMessenger but to no avail.

This must be quite inconvenient on your end. Let me assist you on resolving
    this issue.

Itzik, there are lots of probable causes for this issue. Let us start with
third-party Messenger application. If this type of application is installed
and running, it interacts with Windows Live Messenger and creates conflicts.
The user may need to disable the add-on for troubleshooting purposes.
    1. To uninstall third-party add-ons:
    a. Click Start, type the cmd in the Start Search box, and then press
ENTER, type CONTROL APPWIZ.CPL, and then press ENTER.
    b. Click Kiwee Toolbar (sample only) from the list of installed
programs, and then click Remove. The Kiwee have now been uninstalled
    c. Restart the computer, and then sign in to Windows Live Messenger.
    2. Repeat step 1 to remove any third-party add-ons for any earlier
version of Messenger. For example, remove HiYo, MacroGaming SweetIM,
Messenger Plus! Live, Stuff Plug, My Web Search Toolbar, or any other add-on
    for Windows Live Messenger.
