"WLM Desktop Stand-Alone" (Paid/Free)

    Given what you have experienced/heard/read/seen, (factor-in the pros and
    cons contained herein and outside this NG), How likely would you be to use
    the current version of this product (Windows Live Mail Version 2011 (Build
    15.4.3002.0810)), if you had to 'pay' for it? (not the fee for
    'extra-storage', but the product itself). How likely would you be to
    recommend it to a friend/college? How likely if it remained 'free'?

    Apples and oranges? The fee for extra storage has nothing to do with the
    Windows Live Mail client. I won't buy MS Outlook because there are so many
    free clients available as alternatives. Why would I want to pay for Windows
    Live Mail when I can get Mozilla Thunderbird free?
