    Hi,

I'm having occasiona problems encoding video using WME9 and an Osprey230
capture card. While it works most of the time, occasionally, WME seems to
have trouble writing the file to disk. Everything seems fine in the WME
status window, the frames/sec grabbed and time counter are fine, but the file
size stays at 0 (or possibly 4k). After some indeterminate amount of time,
the file seems to get "jagged loose" and starts incrementing in size (or
sometimes doesn't at all, and stays at 0). When I stop the recording, the
file is truncated at the beginning by the time that it didn't write to disk.
As I said, this is an intermittant problem, and doesn't always happen. All
the system resources are fine: cpu%, disk access, memory. I've tried multiple
drivers for the Osprey230 card, including the newest ones and older ones, and
    the problem still happens.

I am using the following config:

IBM Dual CPU Xeon 1.99GHz, with 1Gb RAM
Win XP Professional, w/ Service Pack 2
3 Osprey230 cards to grab the frames
    WME9

Has anyone had this problem before?

I'd be grateful for any info anyone can provide!
