What's going on, and how can I fix it? Any suggestions would be a huge help.
    Thanks!

  2. HI Bob,

    Welcome to our SBS newsgroup.

    Issue description:

From your description, I understand that you encountered some problems when
    running backup on SBS 2003.

    Analyzing:

It appears that you are using Veritas Backup Exec. Does the issue occur
    when you use SBS Backup/NTBackup?

    Suggestions:

    1. Please check if you run SBS backup does the issue still exist or not.

If it also occurs when you use SBS Backup/NTBackup, please also paste the
    following log to newsgroup:

    - SBS Backup: The log files are in the "C:\Documents and Settings\SBS
    Backup User\Local Settings\Application Data\Microsoft\Windows
    NT\NTBackup\data" folder.

    - NTBackup: The log files are in the "%userprofile%\Local
    Settings\Application Data\Microsoft\Windows NT\NTBackup\data" folder.

    2. For Veritas Backup Exec, you might refer to following page for detailed
    information:

    More info:

In addition, the following update fixes a few VSS issues:
