I have ripped music and downloaded pics onto my c drive and WMP doesn't see
any of them. It always tells me that there are no items in this library yet.
I have vista home premium. Any ideas? This is pretty annoying.

  2. You would have to set the entire C drive as a monitored folder, if you
really put all the files in the folder C:\ (which I doubt you really
    have done).

Otherwise, set the monintored folder to be wherever you stored the
files - by default, WMP only monitors stuff under My Documents folder,
such as My Music, My Pictures etc.

In WMP11 on Vista, go to the Library tab, click the small menu button
(down arrow) below that, choose Add to Library... then Advanced, and
    select your download folder(s).

You can then go to Apply Media Information Changes to update the
library in realtime when things change.
