    WMP10 (10.00.00.4036) doesn't detect my Samsung YP-K5 MP3 player.
Windows does detect it - Device Manager shows it under the "Windows Portable
Devices" Type (though I have to insert it twice in the same USB port to get
this to happen, the first time I get a "USB Device not recognized" error.)
This device carrys the "PlaysForSure" logo.
(Other Music Management sofware doesn't detect it either: MusicMatch JukeBox
    10, Samsung Media Studio 5).
Running Windows XP Pro, SP2 and all high-priority updates installed.

Any help to get this to work is appreciated!
    Thanks!

Are you using a front-side USB port? Those often can be quite buggy - the
    rear-side ports may work better...

I've tried every USB port on the computer (Dell Inspiron 9300 Laptop)
