WMP12 - does not stream video or audio

    Hi
    I am trying to listen to audio stream (http://www.3aw.com.au/) and
    also stream media from: (http://www.reporteperuano.com/programas-
    calendario/NOTICIEROS/1-america-noticias.php)

    I am unable to do so - WMP starts - says Opening Media - Connecting to
    media - but then shows the Ready button and nothing else happens.
    Clicking on the Play button doesn't have any effect.

    I can stream with no problems on my desktop using XP-WMP11 but not on
    the laptop Windows7-WMP12

    Have installed K-lite codecs and no result. Behaviour is the same in
    Firefox or IE.

    I've been able to find posts that quote the same issue but with no
    resolution.

    Any ideas/help will be appreciated!!!
