    Factfile: XO laptop

The One Laptop Per Child project is one step closer to releasing the
completed machine to millions of schoolchildren in the developing world. But
what makes the computer so unique?

Yeah .. but the hardware is just nuts 'n bolts w/o software. I'm not saying
they should take over .. just offer a software system that could on some of
the laptops for free. It seems a worthy project.
