Wrong TV Guide is downloaded from ZAP2IT

I'm in Thornhill, ON, Canada. Postal Code L4J 7W4.
    We use Rogers Analog cable.
I uds Windows Vista Media Center.
    Date and time are correct.
Postal code and Cable provided are set up correctly on the Media Center.
The downloaded guide does not correspond to the actual shows.
Interestingly, the ZAP2IT site shows a perfectly good listing for my TV
(using the same postal code and provider setting as in Media Center), which
    correlates with the actual showing.
Any ideas what went wrong ?

    Daniel,
You also might try the postal code of a nearby larger city that has the same
    TV schedule as yours.

Thank you for all the replies, which did not help.
I tried different postal codes. Did not help.
The issue is that the ZAP2IT listing for my postal code is correct.
The Media center downloads a different guide with the same postal code.
So the problem seems to be with the way Media Center identifies and
downloads the guide from the ZIP2IT database.
Any other ideas how to resolve the problem ?

Are you sure you have the right tv signal source selected (as that will
change the selections that are offered in the EPG setup)?

Try setting up your tv signal source again, and then proceed immediately to
setup your EPG after doing that.

I went to 'about' page for TV Guide settings in MC.
It shows the right TV source:
    Rogers Cable
    Richmond Hill.
    ID: 0005470
    TV Signal: Analog Cable.

I repeat: ZAP2IT guide for the same settings is correct. MC downloaded guide
with the same settings is incorrect. Problems seems to be with identification
and/or download process between MC and ZAP2IT database.

    Any other ideas?

Is the guide downloaded for a totally different cable provider that you can
identify or is it the right data but at the wrong times?

The channel mpaaing/numbers appear to be OK. About 90% of the shows listings
    are wrong.
So I assume that that the downloaded guide is for the correct provider, but
    probably different times.
I've checked repeatedly - the time and date settings on my computer are
    correct.
    Any advise ?

The question is not if the time and date are correct on your computer. The
question is if the time Zone and daylight savings time settings are correct
because if they are wrong then your time relative to the guide is wrong.

    Haleluya !
I followed your advise: my time zone was incorrect.
Set it up correctly and now the guide works great.
Thanks a lot to "Curious" !
