wsus 3 sp1 x64 / wind 2008 ent x64

    Hello,
    I instaled wsus on windows 2008 with sql 2005, and I during the install it
    would not let the wizard run. So I uninstalled and then double checked what
    the pre install requirements where made sure the premissions where correct
    etc. installed again and still no wizard at the end of the install. it tell
    ms i can run it from the wsus mmc spanin, but that will not let me connect to
    the server. "the server may be using another port of differnt ssl setting" i
    did the default install of wsus. thus port is 80 and it is on the local
    server. Please help.

    Hi,

    WSUS v3 SP1 should run just fine on Windows Server 2008 x64.

    - Verify that the websites were created properly in IIS, and that IIS is
    running
    - Verify the bindings of the website (whether port 80 or port 8530)
