WSUS reporting 0x8024400A

    I'm Testing Windows update server, it worked fine for a day and now my
    clients and the Server reports this error when synchronizing.

    I have deletd the windowsupdate log file cleared the Cockie cache and still
    getting same errors.

    Any Ideas.

    WSUS installed on a Microsoft Windows Server 2003 I assume?

    This is caused by a known issue in with Windows Server 2003
    http.sys and IIS.

    Call Microsoft for this hotfix (you will not be charged as long as
    you ask for the hotfix and nothing else):

    Note that you must have Microsoft Windows Server 2003 Service Pack 1
    installed to apply this hotfix.

    Yes it is W2K3 SP1. The Puzzle it did work and updated the clients.

    That's normal, this issue is known to suddenly show up on systems
    that worked fine previously.

    I got the Hot fix downloaded and Restarted trhe wsus Server, Still getting
    the same error and the statistics shows last time the Client connected to the
    WSUS server last friday.
