I currently have a problem with multiple WSUS servers.
I have a main office where the main WSUS server is located.
All branch offices replicate all settings from the main office.

My problem is that the clients in the branch offices dont show up in at the
    main office.
They show up at the WSUS branch office console.
When i change the statistics server name for the client at my branch office
to my main office WSUS server they also wont show themselfs at the main
    office console.

I have been searching the internet and i found the following post:

Currently (as of 8/25/05), the ‘Set the intranet statistics server’ has no
    affect (for future releases).

Is the possible for clients at branch offices to download updates from a
local server but send statistics to a main WSUS server?

  2. This is by design, and documented in the WSUS Deployment Guide.
You /cannot/ change the statistics server name. Both server names in policy
must be identical. This is also documented in the WSUS Deployment Guide.
Oh, it very definitely has effect....!!

It just has to be defined identical to the "update service" server
    Not directly.

May I recommend obtaining the WSUS Reporting Rollup Tool from the Samples
and Tools kit and implementing (and/or modifying) that to meet your needs
    for centralized reporting.
