    Hello,
I have a Dell Server configured as follow:
    Windows 2000 Advanced Server
    Dual Processor Intel XEON
    2G RAM
    600 G Hard Disk.

Does anyone of you if I can install and use Virtual PC?
My main concern regards the OS, because it is not
explicitly listed - same concern for the processors.

Thanks in advance for your help.

  2. VirtualPC may install and operate correctly however Windows 2000 Advanced
Server is not on of the supported platforms for host operating system.
There is also no guarantee that if you do install and it appears to work
successfully that it will continue to do so after any patches or service
packs for the product, or continue to operate without error or data loss etc
    after a period of time.

Having said all of that there are lots of people running Virtual PC 2004 on
unsupported platforms, particularly the Windows Server family.

It's not meant to support this OS but I have it working fine.
