    Hi guys,

We have just installed Excel Viewer 97/2000 on a Windows
    2003 Server.

The reason why we uses Excel Viewer is to prevent users
    from modifying the spreadsheets.

Whenever the Excel Viewer is opened with a spreadsheet,
this process will hog up at least 25% of the CPU processor
time. when more than 4 users run XLVIEW.exe, the CPU
    processor will reach 100%.

Understand that it is a known bug and the workaround is to
save the spreadsheets into HTML format. But this
resolution is not suitable for my company.

Does anyone have any other resolution besides this?
Any help/suggestions will be deeply appreciated.

    Thanks in Advance.
