    Hi folks-

I downloaded XP 64 180-day trial version (ISO format) and burned
the files to a CD as instructed. I can browse the files on the CD and they
all seem to be there. However, when I tried to install on my AMD Atholon 64
PC my system bypasses the CD and just boots up as normal (I already have
XP Pro installed). If I try to install from inside Wdws XP Pro it says I
    must install
from CD at bootup. I checked my bios and have it set to boot from CD first.
Is there something I'm missing here? Any tips would be appreciated.

    Thanks.

You can't burn the files, you have to burn the ISO image, using Nero etc.
That is why you don't have a bootable CD
