Xp home edition and microsoft virtual pc

  2. Yes. It is not supported by Microsoft Product Support Services but it will
    run fine.

    How? When I tried to install on XP Home it said I was missing a DLL file.
    Please help.

    Voune asked if VPC 4 could be installed on XP Home. Colin said yes it could
    even though it wasn't supported. When I tried to install on XP Home I got an
    error stating that I was missing a DLL file. I wasn't provided a file name to
    go along with that error.

    My question is how does a person install VPC 4 on a Win XP Home ed pc?

    Are you referring to VPC 4 or VPC 2004? There is a big difference.

    VPC 2004.

    I didn't realize that there were other versions. I only started trying to
    use it this week which you can probably tell by my other posts.
