My computer started acting up in a strange fashion, and I'm stumped, even
after finding similar problems here on this board.

Windows XP with current updates and Trend Micro PC Cillin fully updated and
scanned, running perfectly for many years, never any problems with viewing
    photos or anything.

Recently, Windows Picture and Fax Viewer displays jpg's of 800x600 or
smaller, but fails to show larger jpg's, giving an error of "Drawing Failed"
All files are ok, though, as they display fine with Photoshop or IrfanView.

Also, about the same time, I'm seeing My Photos Screensaver crashing with an
    error message: ssmypics.scr error.

    Any ideas?

    Thanks!

First thing I would do is repost to a more relevant group, this one is for
Windows Media Center. Maybe the photos or general groups.
