Charlie Russel has a blog on it, but what you should do is leave your BIOS
drive boot priority the same for your hard drives but of course make the CD
first ahead of the current drive.
Make a new folder on the system drive and copy the ntldr, ntdetect.com and
boot.ini files into it. Install XP Pro to the new drive. Boot into XP Pro,
then copy the ntldr and ntdetect.com files over the ones installed by XP
Pro. Check the boot.ini file to see if it is has both systems properly
enumerated. If yes, you should be able to boot into both systems, if no you
should add your XP pro entry to the boot.ini in the new folder and copy it
over the one on the root of the system drive. Make sure the boot priority
stays the same and the active partition stays the same.
