If you do not have a Hotmail Plus Account you are not qualified
    to answer this.

I contacted Microsoft in asked them if the ad pane would
be disabled if I had a Hotmail Plus account. This is their answer to me.
Please let me hear from Hotmail Plus Account Members if the ad pane
is disabled or not. If you do not have a Hotmail Plus account I do not want
to hear your assumptions. I appreciate your input but I want to make sure
    of this.

    Hello Jettsenn,

Thank you for writing to Windows Live Mail Desktop Technical Support.
My name is Alex and I am responding to your inquiry if the advertisements
on Windows Live Mail Desktop will disappear if you subscribe to MSN Hotmail
    Plus.
I understand your concern on this matter.

Jettsenn, I am sorry to inform you that subscribing to MSN Hotmail Plus will
    not
disable the advertisements on Windows Live Mail Desktop. Windows Live Mail
    Desktop
is free to all its members because it is supported by advertisers. I
    sincerely apologize
for the inconvenience this may have caused you.

You are valuable at Windows Live, and we look forward to providing you with
    consistent
and effective service. We appreciate your input and involvement in our
    Windows Live products.

    Sincerely,

    Alex

I have a Hotmail Plus account. It does NOT disable the AD pane. I know some
poster have answer that it does. It does not work for me.

I hope only people with Hotmail Plus accounts answer this so we can find out
if there are some that are able to disable the ad pane. If that is the case
we will ask that Microsoft disables it for everyone that is paying for a
    Hotmail Plus Account.

Please, if you do not have a Hotmail Plus Account do not offer your opinion.
We want to hear from people with actual experience.
