Your current security settings put your computer at risk.

This is annoying to the point of abandoning IE. I need almost everything
enabled for my own sites and the sites I visit. The defaults are way too
strict. They are all throwing errors at everything, normal web design, and we
are not going to redo our sites.

I have changed my own IE settings to be able to navigate without problem and
now I live with the constant "Your security setting....at risk. Click here to
change them" and it begs the question, What business is it of the
programmers? It doesn't ALWAYS put it at risk and in my case it almost NEVER
    puts it at risk.

I love the tabbed browsing, it's awesome, but I'm going to have to use and
to recommend Firefox which I really don't like until this problem is resolved.

I searched and read and no solution to this was offered.

I have been running IE7 with default settings for months and have never seen
this error message you describe, nor have I seen a large number of
complainls about it, which kinda points to their being some issue with your
machines or their settings? Either that or the websites you speak of need
    something outlandishly insecure running.

Please provide a link to one of these sites so that someone can investigate
    as suggested by another poster...
