I'm having a problem formatting my external hard drive correctly. I'm new to
Windows XP, so followed the directions that I received off the microsoft
sight. The only problem is this: when the format box opens and I go to the
File System drop down box - it only has NTFS. I haven't been able to update
all of my computers to XP yet, the others use ME. I need to get this computer
to format this external hard drive to FAT32. That way I can use it for both
    ME & XP.

Does anyone have any idea why the FAT32 will not show up in the file system
drop down box so I can format the external HD to that? Any help or ideas
would greatly be appreciated. I will need full details because as I said I'm
    completey new to XP.

Thanks so much for your time
